On Saturday 9 June Porsche Centre Reading welcomed over 450 guests to our Sportscar Together Day in celebration of 70 years of Porsche. To mark the 70th birthday, events took place around the globe with sportscar drivers, enthusiasts and fans worldwide.
The full model range was on display as well as several classic Porsche models through the ages, including a 1955 Porsche tractor, 1960’s 356B Coupe, 1970’s 911 2.2S, 1992 964, 1988 911 Carrera Targa Sport, 1968’s 911T restoration shell and a new 911T. Extra activities included demonstration drives, racing simulators, pottery painting, balloon modelling, hairdressing and face painting. Refreshments including a barista coffee company, freshly cooked breakfast rolls and fish and chips were also available throughout the day.
