On Wednesday 27 March 2019, Porsche Centre Reading was delighted to welcome over 280 guests to our 911 (992) preview event.
The new 911, available in two coupé derivatives, the 911 Carrera S and 911 Carrera 4S, were presented by our Centre Principal, Craig Brown, and the Finance Director of Porsche Cars Great Britain, Frank Angelkoetter.
An ultra-modern design - instantly recognisable as a 911 - this latest incarnation, now in its eighth generation, continues to be the perfect everyday sports car. The new 911’s horizontally opposed engine is both more powerful and more efficient than ever. The enhanced 3.0-litre, flat-six turbocharged engine unit now delivers 450 PS, and with the optional Sport Chrono Package and Launch Control, it sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds.
Guests enjoyed a live music performance with drinks and canapés served throughout the night. With three stunning examples of the new 911 on display, guests also had the opportunity to explore the full model range including the Panamera, Macan, Cayenne and 718.
Visit our Facebook page for more photos from the preview event.
If you were unable to join us on the night, we would be delighted to offer you the chance to experience the new 911 for yourself. Please call us on 0118 914 5448 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a demonstration drive.
*Data determined in accordance with the measurement method required by law. Since 01 September 2018 all new cars are approved in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP). You can find more information on WLTP at
. From 01 January 2019, all fuel consumption figures are shown as determined in accordance with WLTP. CO₂ figures will be shown as NEDC-equivalent values, as CO₂ based taxation will continue to be based on an NEDC value (derived from WLTP) until 06 April 2020. For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
